“SANGHAM SHARANAM GACHCHAMI”

We take refuge in the “SANGHA”.
A “SANGHA” is a community, small or large,
consisting of BUDDHAS, seekers, practitioners
of Buddhahood, sympathizers of Buddhahood,
helpers of Buddhas.

Around every Buddha, inevitably,
a SANGHA gets developed.
A “Sangha” is a centre of Dhamma teachings
and Dhamma learnings for all lay people
around the “Sangha-Ashram”.

In a “Sangha-Ashram”, group consciousness reigns!
In Sangha, no individual is greater than the other ..
in Sangha, no individual is lesser than the other ..
The senior-most and the junior-most
are equally honoured and are in oneness.
Everybody is in service of the other,
to the best of his/her abilities, dedication.

A “Sangha” is like an “oasis” in a desert!
Outside the “Sangha”, there is Ego-Consciousness ..
Inside the “Sangha” , there is “Group-Consciousness” ..
Inside the “Sangha”, there is “Universal Consciousness” ..
Inside the “Sangha”, there is no ego -consciousness!

“Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre”
is a great SANGHA, created around the master “Bhikku Sanghasena”!

Salutes to the SANGHA!
